INTRODUCTION

                     Taida Horticultural Co., Ltd. (Taida),  founded in 1981, has more than 9 hectares of cultivating areas in  both Taiwa and U.S.A. Currently, there are 70 employees and five sites. In 1996, Taida established a 3 hectares orchid cultivating areas in the U.S. A. branch and 12 employees. Taida established an orchid nursery in the east part of the U.S.A. in 2005. In the future, Taida plan to establish a new branch and orchid cultivating area in the Mainland China. Taida devotes itself to the breeding, research, production, and sale of Phalaenopsis, Oncidium, Cymbidium, Paphiopedilum, Cattleya, and other species. Taida engaged in business management at breeding, non-dust tissue culture, automation of greenhouse environmental control, diseases and pets control, virus test in order to produce the orchids with the best quality. Taida¡Šs Phalaenopsis orchids are mainly for export; plants have been marketed to Japan, U.S.A., Europe and Southeast Asia. Otherwise, Taida also mericlone and grow plants for overseas and domestic customers. The local market is mainly focus on selling pot flowers-usually for presents. We serve domestic customers by delivering to island wide and received good appraisement.
